[ubuntu-in] Ubuntu 8.10 -

Hello friends,

Last week-end I installed Ubuntu 8.10 on my friend's computer and it
works very well. However he doesn't have internet connection and
probably will not have it for at least couple of months, and he would
like to be able to play songs and movies in Ubuntu.

Is there any specific package(.deb file) like gstreamer codecs I can
download using my connection and then install it on his computer? I do
not want him to go through dependency issues.
