Typical conversations with a relative about his or her computer which,
 runs Windows:
+ "gtalk is not connecting"
- "thats because its broken"
+ "try pidgin"

+ "i cant get my printer to work"
- "you need to get the drivers from the site"
+ "OK which?"
- "whats ur printer model number?"
+ "f300"
- "i cant find it on the site!"

+ "i got a virus"
- "need to format"
+ OK.

See the pattern here? There are issues on both sides inspite of
Windows has more vendor support etc.
Also people are familiar with terms like 'drivers' and 'formatting'
and 'viruses' etc because of windows. In linux u have 'compilation',
'xorg' etc. Just that people are familiar with windows terms, user
problems in windows are brushed off.

Just sayin'
