Hi,

Its been some time that we have been talking about the Project Day at
foss.in 2007. Let me recap some past happenings regarding the same.

[1] Call for Participation was called for, talks submitted and a list
of talks had been selected for the Debian-Ubuntu PD (available at
http://foss.in/2007/shortlist.php)
[2] We heard that (unfortunately) Canonical/Ubuntu will not be
sponsors for this event this year and have conveyed their hope that
the Loco Team will take care of itself in this endeavor. Thus we will
not be getting any goodies we had a chance to get.

And there are somethings to be discussed as well,

[1] Soumyadip is looking for some one who can back him up for his talk
on Bug Reporting and Bug Reporting Tools, if he is not able to make it
to foss.in 2007. If you are interested please contact him in the irc
channel #ubuntu-in @ irc.freenode.net
[2] We have to decide whether we are going to prepare handouts and
other stuff to those attending oru PD.
[3] Do we have any plans to get a Ubuntu-In stall ? ( I heard that
KDE-In, Gentoo-In and Fedora-In are planning for a stall). If so, then
what are our plans for it.
