I have a laptop based on Intel Centrino Duo processor. I have never
observed any anomaly. The CPU usage is 50% even when I am compiling
something (except when I use `make -j 3` of course).
May be because I compile my own kernels and never use the stock kernels
shipped by Ubuntu? That may be the reason.
In any case, I think you should file a bug on this.
