I second Prashant Verma's nomination, considering the contributions that
Soumyadip Modak has made, to Ubuntu and to Ubuntu-IN in particular. His
extensive work on the l10n efforts on Bengali translations and maintenance
of various indic-related packages, IMHO, gives me a reason enough to propose
for his inclusion in the council.
