Is the monthly meeting really required? If I recall from the previous meeting's agenda, there were no items of significance.

I would suggest that irc meetings are held as required, or failing that we have discussions using the mailing list on a per event basis. This would help achieve more traffic on the mailing list and it would mean no more late dinners because we have an irc meeting in the evening! :)
