That's one vote for for lunch at Jimmy Chungs followed by something
else, thanks Julie. Am I right in saying that would imply a weekend
party?
This topic was initially discussed at the March team IRC meeting. No
concrete plans were formulated at that meeting. It was suggested
that we have the release party on a weekday evening when folks
would already be in town. A weekend trip to the Meerkat cafe at the
zoo was another suggestion and a geeknic was also suggested. No one
could think of a Narwhal themed venue so a nautical themed venue was
mentioned as a possibility instead.
Do people agree with any of these suggestions or are there different
ideas out there? I can't be sure but I suspect the only opportunity we
will have to finalise details of the party will be at the April team IRC
meeting on 20 Apr 11. This will be quite late. Again, what do people
think about this?
