Ubuntu Hours

Hi Everyone,

Delighted to see this being discussed on the mailing list. Concern
that UH Dublin was stagnating was expressed late last year. The issue
was discussed extensively during the January, April and May IRC
Meetings. I won't rehash those discussions here however the details
can be seen in the meeting logs for these months and these logs can be
viewed from the following link page:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/IrishTeam/IRCMeetings

If memory serves, following the May meeting, the issue was left as
follows:

UH Dublin can be called at any time by anyone for any venue.

Saturday/Sunday afternoon gained a lot of support as did a non-pub
environment. I say go for it! If we don't try different things we'll
never find out if they work or not.

During these earlier discussions a LoCo member suggested that a library
may also be a good venue (just adding that to the pot).

I look forward to an invigorated, fairly regular, UH Dublin possibly
varying in venue, date and time but always vibrant!

Kind Regards,

Mike
