FYI folks, we'd like to let our LoCo know what's going on.

I completely agree.
We're keen to get someone in quickly, but it's clearly important for
us to get the right person, so I'd strongly encourage people to pass
this on to their LoCos mailing lists, forums and IRC channels to get
maximum awareness!
