bug fixes feedback for the UDS

Sorry for the spam, but I thought of some more to talk about.
I think telling people how to get the branch of the package they are
trying to fix and showing them how to submit a diff would be useful to
people starting out making bug fixes too. Please reply and if you want
to get involved but found that the area you are trying to get involved
in is a little difficult to comprehend express that and czajkowski will
relay that back at the talk at the UDS.
