Hiya,

Just joined ubuntu Ireland. First of all let me say if I'm in the wrong
place I apologise. If not please read on.

I sent away for the ubuntu desktop LTS 8.04 and when I received it I was
blown away! I have tried and tried the live CD many times and now I'm ready
to install ubuntu on my hard drive. The problem is I want to keep my windows
vista as well. I have a Desktop HP Compaq 5700c small form factor running
windows vista business and a 232 GB hard drive.

I've heard that you can "dual boot" the drive so that I can choose what O/S
to run as well as keeping all my windows applications and files. I would
love to know if this is possible. Can anyone help?

Regards,

Denis.
