Hi
As we know, Ubunty 12.04 LTS is near EoL status. However, there are still
some security updates for various packages (see; 1., 2.,) So, I would like
to ask why Firefox security update to the 53. version was ignored? Some
examples:
https://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-security/cve/2017/CVE-2017-5462.html
https://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-security/cve/2017/CVE-2017-5438.html
This Firefox version fixes many bugs etc. Why it was ignored when another
packages has been updated? Will there be an update for Firefox on 12.04
LTS?
Thanks, best ragads.
