Hi.

Firefox 48 is out, featuring e.g. process separation called "e10s"
(released on August 2). Multiple flaws were found and fixed. In some Linux
distributions, such as CentOS, Red Hat etc., Firefox is already updated.
What about Ubuntu? For example precise-changes mailing list, still, does
not contains any informations about this update.

Maybe it is too soon, but Ubuntu always published updates quickly.
Especially, for packages like Firefox. Maybe, there are some problems?

Best regards.
