HI!
I have working Apparmor packages for Ubuntu Dapper. They can be found
at: http://www.linuxalert.org/ubuntu/apparmor/
Patches can be found in the src directory. The patches also contains
minor fixes that make the init-scripts more LSB compliant.
I do not recommend them for use on production systems
yet. But please test them and send bug reports and suggestions to
me. If you create new profiles, I am happy to be to include them
in these packages.
To install, download the packages and run:
sudo dpkg -i apparmor-* libapparmor1_2.0-0ubuntu2_i386.deb \
linux-image-2.6.15-21-386_2.6.15-21.32mr1_i386.deb
Known issues:
* There are not correct dependencies from apparmor-parser to
linux-image. You need the linux-image-package provided from me to get
Apparmor to work.
* All profiles are not tested on Ubuntu.
Upcoming steps todo are:
* Verify existing profiles
* Add change_hat for apache.
You can find information about Apparmor on:
http://en.opensuse.org/Apparmor
http://forge.novell.com/modules/xfmod/project/?apparmor
What do you think about geting AppArmor into Dapper+1?
Just smile and wave!
/Magnus
