Networkmanager hiccups

I had to entirely remove network manager from my laptop. It worked for 30+
days then all of a sudden it would pretend like I had no wifi card at all.

Installed wicd and bam, wifi connection returned.

Don't have any real diagnotsic info I can provide, sorry.
