Process consuming all available memory

Hi! I'm going to explain what I believe is a bug in Ubuntu GNOME.
If I should report this issue somewhere else please let me know.

When I use Ubuntu GNOME with GNOME 3 and I make a search in the dash
(I believe this is the name of what is displayed when you press the
Windows key), there is a process call gnome-contacts-search-provider
that starts using more and more memory and it only stops when there is
no more available memory. You have to kill this process in order to
use the computer.

The same happens when I try to use Empathy in GNOME 3 or Classic. I
said try because the application never starts completely, it gets
frozen.

I uploaded a screenshot from the System Monitor:

Is someone else having this problem?

Thanks for your help.
Joaquín
