Hi,

As always, great job :)

I would definitely vote for the 2nd group with the same icons we are using
on our Wiki but:

   1. is there anyway the text could be more visible? maybe different color
for the wallpaper of the slide or bigger font or more white?
   2. is it possible to show ONLY the slide show without showing the
   Desktop Background?

That is all for now :)

Yes, I totally understand this is just a test to show the idea ;)

Hi,

1. Yes, actually this is based on the Ubuntu layout, both colour, size and
position can be changed. By the way, you are only referring to the
non-music&video slides, right? They certainly have a very poor contrast.

2. Do you mean my desktop? If so, I'll keep it mind next time I make
screenshots, I will only post the actual windows.

Right, it seems very sensible to use the same colour of our Wiki
pictograms. That's a good point.

Cheers.

Hi,

To my eyes, all the slides were less visible :(

Highlight the window you want to take a screenshot for, Hold Alt adn Prt
Scr or use shotwell for example to crop the useless area :D

Yes, better to be consistent but I was referring more to the 'icons' more
than the colors :D

Oh, I see, actually some icons were missign (the music&videos one, for
instance), so I made new ones, also some weren't completely right and I
remade them (e.g., help). Most of them are the same of our wiki (as they
already existed).

I hope it was a problem of the quality image. Here a slightly-bigger-font
version: http://cl.ly/image/1i3y3K1r1C3i

Anyway, I'll make sure the font colour is the right to an optimal contrast.
Eventually, the fonts could be made bigger, but that means a lot of the
slides will have scrollbars to show the full information text.

Another problem, I think, is that Cantarell works horribly at small sizes.

Regards.

It is true the icons are small but the slide show will look much better and
more professional when the icons on the slide show match the onces on our
Wiki :D

So, let's do it :D

The one on the right (Any questions?) is much better :D
The bigger, the better and more visible. Or we can play with the colors so
we can keep the size as it is right now and make the text more clear color
wise (also we can change the background on that text).

+1

No, we need to use as less text as possible. Lots of users will not be
interested to read too much text. Keep It Short and Simple :D
I know Ubuntu GNOME is not lightweight but I see no harm to use The KISS
Principle :D at least with our Slide Show ;)

Sorry, not sure what that is?

Thanks a lot :)
