Hi,
Today is the final testing day for the final 13.04 Beta before its
scheduled release later today.
If you'd like to help us get this release finished, you can
participate in ISO QA Testing. This is the process where we test the
installability of the release candidate images.
The images are at http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-gnome/daily-live/current/
The testcases are at
http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/264/builds/41180/testcases
and http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/264/builds/41181/testcases
More instructions are available at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/U+1/iso-testing-qa I believe you can skip the
hardware profile section today as that may take a while to set up.
Please mark the testcase as "in progress" if you're working on it so
that we can make sure all the testcases are covered. We need at least
one successful completion before releasing.
If you have additional questions or feedback, you can also find us on
IRC in #ubuntu-gnome. Other relevant channels are #ubuntu-quality or
#ubuntu-release.
Apologies for the short notice. This is also a good time to mention
that we are looking for a volunteer QA Lead who can organize ISO
testing like this.
Thank you,
Jeremy
