Juste une suggestion pour "Stepper style" ?

D'après ce qui est dit dans la question et la réponse ci-dessous, je me 
demande si les  "steppers" ne seraient pas les flèches en haut et en bas des 
ascenseurs sur le côté d'une fenêtre, car si l'on clique sur l'une des deux, 
cela fait monter ou descendre dans le document (ou la fenêtre) par étapes 
(in steps) et pas de façon continue.

GtkScrollbar::has-forward-stepper=0 and GtkScrollbar::has-backward-stepper=0 
( setting these values to 0 causes problems with Open Office ), I would like 
to see a transparent symbol with the functionality remaining. For example, 
if I click before the beginning or after the end of the scrollbar trough the 
scrollbar behaves like I clicked the stepper. IMO it looks like steppers are 
not being used on devices like mobile phones, music players ( iTouch), and 
tablets ( iPad ). Thanks, John

Je suis en train de traduire murrine (th?me) dans le cadre du projet
GNOME.

J'aurai besoin d'id?e pour certaines traductions :

Le contexte est la personnalisation d'un th?me de gestionnaire

Qu'est ce que le "stepper" ? (le rectangle qui est dans l'ascenseur ?)

je ne saurai pas repondre a tes questions, par contre il y a un soucis dans
la version originale: manque un "a" ? tous les "Increase" que tu cites. ->
il faudrait faire remonter l'info aux anglophones  :)

C'est pratiquement impossible ? traduire correctement sans tester les
fonctionnalit?s propos?es.
Au vu des diff?rentes cha?nes on peut supposer qu'il s'agit des r?glages de
surbrillance de boutons ou autres ?l?ments d'interface graphique lorsqu'ils
sont survol?s ou s?lectionn?s.

?claircir/assombrir l'?l?ment s?lectionn? (ou la mise en surbrillance)

?claircir/assombrir la lueur externe

?claircir/assombrir l'?l?ment survol? (ou l'?l?ment qui a le focus)

N'est-ce pas simplement le nom du style ? ? laisser en anglais donc...

Ce ne sont que des suggestions. Encore une fois il faut voir en contexte si
