problema con el teclado

Hola a todos,

estoy probando Ubuntu y me plantea un problema con el teclado pues no me
reconoce el mio. Cuando voy a System>Preferences>Keyboard>Layout y elijo
Toshiba Satellite, que es el mio, o cualquier otro me da el siguiente
mensaje de error

Gracias a quien pueda ayudar, pues si no arreglo este peque;no problema no
se como seguir adelante.
