instalar gtk

con libgtk2.0-dev y build-essential (mas sus dependencias) deberias
tener lo necesario.
glade es el programa para diseñar interfaces.

mirate el primer ejemplo, el "hola mundo", del gtk tutorial e intenta
compilarlo como te indica en este texto. si no te funciona peganos lo
que te dice aquí.
