instalar gtk

hola

podeis aclararme como instalar gtk en una ubuntu feisty para poder
programar aplicaciones graficas con esta libreria?

Debo instalar via el codigo fuente de la gtk y compilar o hay algun
deb que me resuelva el tema de una manera eficiente?


De momento he puesto, q recuerde estos debs:

libgtk2.0-dev ,  libgtk1.2-dev , build-essential, glade y tengo todo
esto instalado con el nombre gtk
