Ubuntu Laptop compatibility (IN EGYPT)

I tried HP and I had all kinds of problems, if you WANT an HP, some people say that the professional series are good but I didn't try any, my HP DV5 is some how compatible with Ubuntu, but if you're more than a normal end user then I don't recommend it plus it heats like hell, I use it to melt food ( I'm not exaggerating). in my opinion, DELLs are the best, speciall studio, XPS & latitude series.
