Sorry to be pokey getting back to you about the very helpful suggestions.
Being the only other administrator at a very small school has pluses and
minuses. Mostly pluses - but it seems sometimes there are way too many
things to do and they all need attention at the same time.
I am in the process of installing dansguardian. I'll then be better able to
determine if it meets CIPA requirements.
I'm also working on the alternative user login.
I tried setting the system up as a Chrome Kiosk - but that went too far in
restricting access.
