I lurk here, having moved on from teaching ICT in a primary school and
running its (edubuntu) computer lab to teacher training for primary ICT.
I also look after the UK's Open Source Schools community (
http://opensourceschools.org.uk), which is supported by our national ed tech
agency and is an online and face to face community of practice with 500 or
so members.
Best wishes,
Miles.

This is very cool and I'm quite surprised how this sprang back to life
so quickly with only a little prod. I'm very happy to hear of the
Texas Linux Fest and I plan to try and attend since I'm in Oklahoma.

Hi People!

I've just subscribed to this list.? It doesn't look like there has been much
activity for a few months.? Would you please hit the reply/reply-to-all
button to show your current active status?? I'd be interrested in an
ubuntu-education revival!

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I've been on the list for a little while too, but have noticed the lack of
activity.

I'm currently an MA student in Stanford's Learning, Design, and Technology
program. Definitely interested in the role of open-source in an
increasingly digital education world. Of course, it's not just about seeing
what happens, but making it happen.

Best,
Paul Franz
