[ec2-beta] Some suggestions

I agree with Joel,

And would like to add:

- PHP5 didn't work out-of-the-box for me. It was installed and the
module was enabled, but it didn't work.
Here's what i had to do: stop apache2, a2dismod php5, a2enmod php5,
apache start (excuse me if i wrote the wrong commands, i'm typing from
memory).
