[ec2-beta] Instances show no console output, do not respond?

Thanks for the replys (i'm on digest so i might not have seen them
all, have to switch that)

but i did follow the guide and authorize the port 22.

I think the main issue is the machine not booting up at all, no any
console booting (though i did see it once, but my key got over written
(my fault)) so i couldnt use it.

I will try a few more times tonight, what's 10cents to make ubuntu aws
great huh?

PS: is there an irc channel to have discussion with some of the experts?

PSS: Can you have persistant instances? it seams my instances
dissapear after i shut them down, so if i were to build a server would
i just loose everything each time? (wouldnt think thats the case).
