Hi all,

there are any updates required at this point, but it would be great to

I have installed Yakkety, so I can test Unity 8. For those of you who
are interested, here is what I have found out so far:
In U8 you have: the terminal, system settings, scopes (as a substitude
for the Dash) and a web browser. The latter does not work on my PC
(problems with Nouveau), but I managed to get around this problem by
installing Firefox. You can install applications that use X.org by first
installing Libertine. For convenience sake, I installed Nautilus,
leafpad and Firefox.
If you want to help testing U8, please use this list to let us know what
your findings are.
Apart from writing documentation on U8, I think we should also write
something about Snap(py).
