Serverguide content for non LTS

Hi,
I wanted to ask for a bit of guidance.
I wrote the Serverguide part for DPDK in the past for 16.04.

Now in Yakkety a few things have changed and I wonder what the right/usual
way is to document that. I see at [1] that the guide itself is only
published each LTS.

But I'd really like to add paragraph like "for users of OpenvSwitch-DPDK in
Yakkety or later - that also includes users with a 16.04 LTS deploying UCA
Newton [2] - the way to configure dpdk for open vSwitch has changed. In
those caseses due to [... actual content on what changed and how to do it
now]"

Is such a thing reasonable and acceptable into the serverguide?
If not what way would you recommend?
