Noticeboard?

I am not sure if a noticeboard will work. Announcing upcoming meetings,
if there are any, can be done on this mailing list, which is imho a very
useful way of communicating between team members.
It is another thing if we want to communicate with non-team members.
Would we be able to reach them if we use a noticeboard?
