Hi Pasi,
thank you for your reply. I am attaching the full markup since I have made
the additions in rev 83 a bit clearer (and I merged the table from the
latest version).
Is there anything else I should do?

This page is dedicated to easily collect BIOS versions seen in the wild or available to download for Samsung computers. This is because for many models, Samsung does not provide via their website the option to see the latest BIOS version, the release notes for a given BIOS version, or allow one to download a dedicated, OS vendor independent BIOS upgrade method. Instead, they provide a Windows only software update program (SW Update), that is used to both check if a BIOS update is available, and if so, then download and install via this program. Here is the definition of each column:
Model - The model number as per Samsung.
BIOS Version - This is the version of the BIOS when executing at a terminal: {{{

BIOS Date - This is the date of the BIOS when executing at a terminal: {{{

}}}
BIOS Link - This is a URL, typically from Launchpad, that demonstrates a verified BIOS version and date from Ubuntu.
Model Website - This is a URL to the support homepage for a given model number.

This part explains how the official Samsung Update Software checks the latest BIOS version and how it downloads the latest file. This example describes a Samsung ultrabook, model NP530U3B-A01IT.
The Update Software is a Windows-only program that downloads the latest BIOS version information from Samsung, it compares it against the currently installed version and allows the user to update the firmware.
The tool performs an HTTP request to the following URL:
