Wouldn't it be easier to wait until vivid can be translated in Launchpad?
What I usually do is change the name of the last version to the new one
like this:
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu-docs/trusty/+pots/ubuntu-help/nl/+translate?

https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu-docs/vivid/+pots/ubuntu-help/nl/+translate?

When will vivid be translatable in Launchpad?
