How to get permission to edit wiki pages?

Hi Tom,

It was a bit more tricky than expected. The instructions on
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WikiGuide/Registration didnt work for
me. It says:

If you have a Ubuntu One account, but no Launchpad account

     Go to https://login.launchpad.net/
     Insert your Ubuntu One credentials
Click "Update" to create a Launchpad account linked to your Ubuntu
One account

I put in my email address and password, and clicked "Login". But there
is no "Update" button. It doesnt look to me as if any new Launchpad
account has being created - it just seems that I am logging in to Ubuntu
One, and that's all. I cannot see any option to create a Launchpad account.

I experimented a bit, and finally worked it out.

I went to https://launchpad.net - NOT login.launchpad.net
This gave me a Launchpad page, not an UbuntuOne page.
Then I clicked "log in/register"
I got an Ubuntu One login page. I clicked Login button
This took me back to the Launchpad Home page, and hey presto, I now have
a Launchpad usename! And now, at last I have an Edit button on the wiki
pages!

Maybe I should edit the WikiGuide/Registration page?

Cheers,
