Hey Hannie,
there is no way to change the link color in the wiki. That's why that
box doesn't have links to begin with.
Since we might have more translations, I don't think the place you
proposed is sustainable. The link shouldn't be too obtrusive for those
who can read English (which you need to know at least some to be able to
read most of the articles in the wiki anyway). I would say a place under
the "More resources" heading would be more appropriate for linking
language versions.
Moreover, I think the biggest benefit of translated homepages is when
the wiki is linked from another site. For that, you don't need a link in
the main page.
Ultimately, if the new page efficiently replaces the old translation
[1], I would copy the content of the new page over the old one (and
removing the new one) to keep existing links from other sites
up-to-date. (I imagine the new translated front page doesn't have *too*
many hits yet.)
