There is not much point in updating the old pages imo.
I think Firewire didn't really take-off as much as it was anticipated to
do. Ethernet and usb-cables still dominate. Mac systems seem to be
completely upgraded much more often so i doubt there's a huge demand for
the older FireWire systems under Ubuntu.
It might be good to keep at least 1 of the pages but only if it/they can be
stuffed out of the way a bit. I like the sub-pages under
xxxxxxxxx/old/xxxxxxx
and think at least 1 of the pages might be best 'archived' there.
