I can't speak for the docs team admins, but I'm pretty sure that even
if you expire from the team, once you're back and add yourself back
you will be added back with the original addition date (so if you
joined on dec 13, 2010, expire on dec 13, 2013 and add yourself back
on jan 4, 2014 it will still show you as being a member since that
first date of dec 13 2010). So strictly speaking there isn't a real
need to extend your membership in the open team, just rejoin when
you're able :)
