Just for reference for those who are curious: For teams that have
renewals set up there will typically be a period of 7 days prior to
expiration (default, this can be configured) where members are
notified via email (also configurable) of their upcoming expiration.
During that time you will get a link you can follow to click renew.

Of course if it's an open team (like ~ubuntu-doc-committers) you can
just join the team again if you miss the expiration date, no big deal.
