The Ubuntu Server Guide wants YOU!

Hi :)
Sorry, i think it is "better English" to spell out the numbers. I think most teachers of English would agree. It's just that where i work we have limited opportunity to translate our materials and yet our client groups are the various "ethnic community groups" in the region, and individuals that might have little or no skill in reading English. Ubuntu is a completely different "bottle of crisps".

Tom :)

Hi Tom,
I think it is a matter of choice. When I first read these strings in
the server guide I changed them to numerical, but then I thought
both are correct, so I left them unchanged.
But perhaps it would be a good idea to mention in the style guide,
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DocumentationTeam/StyleGuide/InternationalAudience,
what is preferred: numbers in numerical or spelled out.
Regards,
Hannie

I prefer numbers in numerical rather than spelled out. It
makes it easier to understand internationally and cuts
down on the work that translators have to do imo.

Correction:
...after thirty seconds. This is ok.
Once the initramfs has booted there is a fifteen
second prompt... Ok.
