I'm not sure I'm following you here when you say "fixed from scratch".
What do you mean by this? I was also unaware that the "Community
Contributed Documentation" (i.e. the community help wiki) had been
decided on as the portal for the Ubuntu documentation. Have I missed an
email about this?
