Hello,
This is my first contribution to the Ubuntu community, I have edited my
first file and wrote a small guide for the display-2monitors guide. Attached
is the diffname.txt so you can see my changes. The file may be a little
messy in syntax as im still learning the style. Any feedback is appreciated!
Best Regards,

+
Enabling a second monitor in Ubuntu

+
+
Having a second monitor in your Ubuntu installation can be great for multitasking
+ and setting it up is quite easy to do by following these simple steps.

+
+
Only certain computers are capable of supporting two displays, make sure you have proper outputs for your video
+
+	card to connect your monitor to. Also, if your video card is not supported by Ubuntu then this feature may not be fully functional.

   <steps>
-

First step...

-

Second step...

-

Third step...

+

To get started, ensure you have your second monitor attached to your video card, then navigate to <gui>System</gui> -->
+
+<gui>Preferences</gui> --> <gui>Monitors</gui>. In the box to the left you should see two monitors, one will be disabled if not already
+
+	enabled

+

Click the rectangle that says your monitors name, such as "XYZ Brand 23"" Then select the appropriate resolution
+
+	that your monitor supports, refresh rate, rotation (if necessary). Refer to your monitors manual for configuring the
+
+	appropriate settings.

+

To test out the new configuration hit the <gui>Apply</gui> key and if it looks right then hit <gui>Close</gui>. If the monitor
+
+	is not in the right location virtually in contrast to its actual physical location then you can drag the monitors'
+
+	rectangle around to the appropriate location.

   </steps>

+
+
At default, different images are displayed on each monitor, if you wish to enable the same image across both monitors then tick the box <gui>"Same image in all monitors"</gui> and then
+
+ <gui>Apply</gui>. You also have the option to create a shortcut to this preferences window by enabling <gui>"Show monitors in panel"</gui>, which will then place itself in the panel.
