As long as you have POT and PO files, you are fine. Since for GNOME we
use xml2po and Ubuntu uses xml2po, this shouldn't be a real problem.
There might still be something to fix on xml2po part, but now it is
already usable (see Empathy help).

The toolchain modification might be on the XSLT part, but I can't
remember now what Ubuntu is based on.
