Thanks for the update. Is it safe to say that no-one is actively working
on this at the moment?

I think the most important thing to discuss is the role of screencasts
within the support community. What do support people want to use them
for, and what do users expect from them? The answers to these questions
should shape the direction of the project (and the format/content of the
videos).

I don't think that screencasts should be a separate user assistance
effort; rather, we should be integrating them into other documentation.
