makefile appears to be broken

Just as a heads up:
I wanted to test out a new stylesheet I'm working on for PDFs. I 
downloaded the latest ubuntu-doc package and the Makefile is broken. The 
last time I used this file (maybe a week or two ago) it was working 
fine. In a recent edit is appears as though a round bracket went missing.

A branch has been pushed to LP to fix this error.
