With respect, to be perfectly honest, if *I* was doing it, and I had no
restrictions, I would completely ignore the following MoinMoinWiki group
landing pages:
HelpForUsers <https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HelpForUsers>
HelpOnEditing <https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HelpOnEditing>
HelpOnMoinWikiSyntax
<https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HelpOnMoinWikiSyntax>
HelpOnActions <https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HelpOnActions>
And just put those links (and 'maybe' some of the text) on the Guide
Page as our *official* go-to guide. That way, if someone wants to edit,
they just come here and there are links for whatever they need without
having to jump through hoops or click all over the place. In other
words, it might look something like this:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WikiGuide/Draft
With that in mind, some of the pages, like "/Formatting" could
incorporate the "Basic Formatting" coding instead. That way we can
remove that link,
Then, related to our other "Categories" thread, we really need a section
on this page called "Categories vs. Stubs" in the same vein as "Which
software?".
I also thought that the "Integrate" question was a great place to put
the links for "searching the wiki"
BTW- what were your thoughts about submitting the documentation
confusion to the MoinMoin bug tracking?
