Oops! Why didn't I just write an example?
Here's what I am thinking.

"Type cryptic sequence of commands and press ⏎ Return."

So we get the best of both worlds!

Bye,

Sorry I sent this to you along by accident, Dougie. Why can't someone
come up with a web mail client that does what I want?

PS: Or we can go all "Linux is about choice" *durrr* on people and
"just add an option" to Yelp that appears when it is first started.
"Does your keyboard have Return or Enter?" :P
Kidding, kidding!

Although the upcoming new-fangled documentation system for GNOME may
help with this. I understand it has the ability to insert blocks of
common content in-line in a sense, such as directions for how to open
programs (instead of needing to duplicate them every time). Perhaps
some day there'll be a "how to Enter commands in a terminal" block
that changes based on the user's keyboard model in System Preferences,
whether he has installed a more GUI-ish terminal, or whether he has
accessibility stuff turned on...
Perhaps it would be worth turning up this matter again in a year or so?
