Introduction

Hello to all,

I am a recent migrant to Ubuntu, and am currently running Ubuntu 7.10 (32-bit) and 8.04 (32-bit and 64-bit) on a variety of machines.  I came from Windows, though I had dabbled off and on in Linux since the mid 90's.

I would like to help this vibrant community grow, and while I am still honing my Python/Java skills, I would like to help out with documentation if possible.  I've never used the DocBook format, but am willing to learn.
