Introduction

[Jukka Hilvonen]

Hello everyone!
My name is Jukka Hilvonen and I come from Finland. I joined this list
because I want first to get a little bit of experience of  Ubuntu
documentators' community and eventually become a Ubuntu-contributor by start
writing finnish documentations (for example).

I am quite new to Ubuntu. I've been used Ubuntu occassionally for four years
now and regulartly about three months now alongside to - forgive me saying
out aloud - Windows. The real reason why I want to contribute is the
mind-blowing and  altruistic (at least for most of the contributors)
co-operation for greater good for whole mankind. I think it's amazing how
great number of professionals from different parts of world are doing work
together seamlessly and I want also give my assistance to this effort. I
think the best thing for me right now is start contributing by writing some
documentation to best subject (for me) - Ubuntu - and maybe later something
else, time will show.

About me. I am 24 years old man living with my girlfriend and her kids in
little finnish city called Lappeenranta. My educational background is
technical. I graduated six months ago from local polytechnic (my major was
software engineering) and now I work as a project-engineer in Eastern
Finland. In two months I will start my Master's degree in Information
Networks in near-by university.

So, without further addition, I hope to hear and experience how this amazing
community is working and maybe also hear something how can I contribute in
the future.
