yeah, and all the info is old/inaccurate or just so random that it's
useless. also the system for differentiating between distros is poor,
at best.

wikis have their uses, but dropping a mediawiki install on a server
and letting people go at it does not lead to quality documentation.
we'd be better off putting a google search field on the site.

p.s. not trying to be a negative nellie, i'm just not a big fan of the
current state of the unofficial docs. there may not actually be
solutions to my complaints, i certainly can't see any, so feel free to
take this with an appropriately sized grain of salt if you can't see
any either.
