great idea! Sometimes I feel people are not using documentation because
they don't like it... but that's just my impression.

Knowing what people would like to read (apart from modems' problems and
troubleshooting), in my opinion, is just a great way to have better
documentation.

I don't know a good free online survey though, what I've been looking in
the past for doing some simple survey or polls was:

http://www.doodle.com/main.html
http://www.esurveyspro.com/
http://freepollkit.com/
http://www.my3q.com/misc/register/register.phtml?strForceLang=en

Basically all required you to register, but there could be limitations
on the use (like a prefixed number of questions and responses...).
