Mentoring Program

Hello,

I'm interested in being mentored.

A little about me - I'm  an Avionics Technician in the UK, used to
following technical documentation. I've also spent the last year
rewriting a lot of our technical documentation which is a mixture of
documentation aimed at both maintainers (technical and knowledgeable
readers) and users (who tend not to be able to turn things on). Although
this is purely large scale industrial/military power and hydraulic
supply systems there are standard formats for the documentation.

As a secondary task I also maintain and support a large Windows 2003
installation and would be particularly interested in any documentation
easing the transition from Windows to Ubuntu.

I've used Linux since 1995 and made the change from Slackware to Fedora
and finally to Ubuntu a few months ago.

I am currently undergoing a series of operations so have several months
off work and would love to have something to fill my time!
